Family
I have been married to Danny for over thirty years. He is retired from the Burlington Fire Department where he was a Battalion Chief. Danny is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf. He is a talented handyman who can wear the hat of a plumber, a mechanic, a carpenter, or an electrician. Between his hobbies and his skills as a handyman he stays busy.
David is our oldest son. He is the web site manager for Elon University. (Thanks to him for this web site!) He is married to Casey and they have four children.
Ricky, our youngest son, is a senior at Brevard College where he plays football. Go Tornadoes!
We have three wonderful “grand” sons, and a beautiful “grand” daughter. They love for Grandma to read to them and tell stories. Craft and art projects are favorite activities at Grandma’s house.
Since most authors share info about their pets I feel obligated to include some facts about my animals. I have a ceramic fish named Jaws and a stuffed black cat that is my October companion.
