Book Wreath
Due to some slight basement flooding I had to discard my first book wreath. I like this one much better. It is made with one old paperback, floral pins, and a styrofoam wreath.

I just finished reading a friend’s newest book, Naomi Wise: A Cautionary Tale. Sandra Redding grew up in Randolph County, NC hearing tales of the orphan, Naomi Wise who was murdered as a young woman on the banks of Deep River. The author dreamed of one day writing a novel about Naomi. Kudos to Redding for her perseverance!
Naomi’s life becomes entwined with two women who also have dreams and persevere. Mary Ruth, a farm wife, and Arabelle, an escaped slave, try to guide and protect the orphan whose life ends tragically.
Sandra is a gifted writer who has won many writing contests. To read more about her, her books, or to read the first chapter of Naomi go to her website @ www.sandraredding.com
Let your wrapping paper give a hint of what’s inside the package!
Giving a GPS, tickets for a cruise, or a travel book? Use the pages from an outdated atlas for wrapping paper, and a map to make the bow.
